NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH

Neighbourhood Watch reports that overnight 11/12 July a number of Satellite Navigation systems were stolen from vehicles parked in Folkestone.

The lock was forced on a vehicle parked in the underground car park in Priory Gardens, a brick was thrown through a side window to gain the Sat Nav from an Audi parked on a road to the rear of Beachborough Road.  The door window was levered to gain entry to a Mazda that was parked in Downs Road and the lock was forced on a van that was parked underneath The Leas where security camera equipment was stolen.

As any people from Hawkinge travel to Folkestone in their cars please make sure you do not leave SatNavs in the car, they are designed to be portable.

Parish & NHW Liaison Officer 07870 999892
