THIS COULD BE THE LAST TIME FOR SELSTED SCHOOL

Selsted School pupils and teachers could be entertaining their French counterparts for the last time next month if the threatened closure of the school goes ahead.

17 pupils and 5 adults will be travelling from Aviron as guests of Selsted School for the biennial exchange visit between the schools.

The visitors from Aviron Primary School in Northern France will be staying with local families.

Chairman of the Swingfield Twinning Association, Colin Tearle said: "The value of these visits cannot be underestimated.

"It has been one of the outstanding achievements of the twinning with Aviron over the past 9 years."
