YOUNG WOMAN SHOT AT LOCAL PARK

Police are appealing for witnesses to a shooting at Radnor Park, Folkestone on Saturday night (24 June).

A 19 year-old woman was taken to hospital for treatment after being shot in the arm with an air gun as she walked in Radnor Park Road, Folkestone.

She was treated at the William Harvey Hospital, in Ashford, for an injury to her right elbow. The air gun pellet had to be removed.

Police have said they think the gun was fired near the Radnor Park bowling green.
