POLICE ARE NEEDED AT WEEKENDS

Re: Vandals destroy trees

Being one also to read that there was no crime to report, there is still the incessant flouting of traffic laws in the village.

This is particularly so at weekends when all and sundry seem to think that breaking simple safety rules, designed to protect us all, is a right. Perhaps a greater police presence at weekends would help (especially if armed with a light tank!)
