SASHA MAKES IT TO MISS ENGLAND FINALS

17 year old Sasha Buckingham from Hawkinge is to represent Kent in the Miss England 2006 finals in Leicester on the 13 and 14 July.

She was crowned Miss Kent from 14 finalists in the county contest at Maidstone and now goes forward to the Miss England final.

Sasha, is a former Miss Folkestone and has been a finalist in the Miss Euroregion.

The winner will go on to represent England at Miss World 2006 with the chance to win $100,000 and to travel around the world.

Sasha was a student  at  the Astor school in Dover and is a member of the Franze Academy who meet in Hawkinge.

She is one of the Franze dancers selected to compete for England in America next year.

Sasha was one of the Franze Academy dancers who brought back a World title from the US in 2005. They are the only school in the country to be invited to Hollywood in 2007 to take part in the World Champions in Dance Excellence.
