HAWKINGE CRIME UPDATE

Crime in Hawkinge continues to fall with just one reported incident last week.

It involved the theft of a car number plate in Widgeon Walk Hawkinge overnight of the 8/9 May.

PC Trevor Moody said that the latest figures for crime in the village showed a drop of 34.9% for April compared with the same period in 2005.

PC Moody will now be holding the monthly surgeries on the second Wednesday of each month between 2.00pm and 4.00pm at the Hawkinge Community Centre. The next surgery will be on 14 June 2006.
