BIGGIN ON THE BUMP - COMING SOON

HAWKINGE AND DISTRICT GARDENER’S SOCIETY

Members and guests met o­n Wednesday 3rd May to listen to a very interesting talk and slide show given by Dr John Woodward entitled ‘ The First Field Naturalist – A Celebration of the Life of Rev Gilbert White MA’. 

Members were reminded that the Plant Sale was due to take place o­n Saturday 6th May and that there was also a coach trip to Saville Gardens o­n Sunday 7th May.

Entries for monthly flower arranging competition – this month entitled ‘An arrangement for a Dinner Party’

Jenny Armitage – 8 points

The next meeting o­n Wednesday 7th June will be a Garden Visit to Wickham and the speaker for the meeting o­n Wednesday 5th July will be Mr Bob Ogley giving a talk entitled ‘Biggin o­n the Bump’

Meetings are held o­n the 1st Wednesday of the month at Hawkinge Village Hall at 7.30pm
