'PERVY GRAMMAR' CLAIM IS TOTALLY UNTRUE

Dear Ed,

Re:- Topless teacher sacked

I am a Sixth Former, doing my A Levels at the Harvey and feel that this whole thing has been blown out of all proportion by the Folkestone Herald, which seems to have an agenda against the Harvey.

Ms Howells was wrong to do what she did, especially in an all boys school but on the other hand the School is not at fault, they did not know she was going to do this and they have taken the reight action in my opinion.

She was only an agency member of staff and a new Head of Music is due to be appointed in the Autumn Term.

The school is a good school and has some excellent results, the teaching team is second to none and the pupils on the whole are mature, well mannered boys who work hard and the bad press the school is receiving from newspapers like the Folkestone Herald are not helpful.

They simply fuel ridiculous stories that the school is called "Pervy Grammar" - which is totally untrue.

Rob
