FOLKESTONE CAMERA CLUB

On Monday 27th   February,  Chris Parry,  judged this 4th slide competition of the season.  It was a very interesting evening, our members learning a lot from his tips, advice and experience o­n how we could improve our photography. As we can see, the slide numbers are reducing in favour of digital images. 

His winners were (marks out of 20):-

The above entries receiving 20 points can be viewed o­n our website at www.folkestonecameraclub.co.uk  along with many other  photographs taken by members. 

We also have many Links to Photography related shops.

Next Monday 6th March will be our PETER HERITAGE CUP Subject: “Entertainment� + REG.WALKER CUP (best of last years slides/images) + ST. AUBYN CUP A landscape print competition and our Judge: Mr Adrian Harrison who will have quite a job deciding the winners of these three competitions which will prove to be a very entertaining and long evening!

The following week 13th March the EUROTUNNEL CHALLENGE TROPHY.will be competed for by Folkestone v Canterbury, Deal & District & Gateway Camera Clubs. Hosted by Folkestone C.C. Judge: Mr Keith Evans FRPS, DPAGB. Again this will be a very enjoyable evening, where we can see other clubs work. 

The 20th March will be the SLIDE/PROJECTED IMAGE COMPETITION No.5
Judge: Dr. Peter Lewis LRPS.
