On Monday 27th November, we held our 2nd Print competition of the season, judged by Richard Walton FRPS EFIAP MPAGB BPE3*, a very competent and experienced photographer as the letters after his name show! and he gave us very good comments on how we can improve our photography. He was an excellent judge and gave a wide range of marks out of 20. Winners, of each section were as follows:-

On Monday 5th December, two of our members, Ian Stone CPAGB and Marie-Laure Stone DPAGB presentied “WILD ENCOUTERS” – they treated us to several short Audio-Visuals of their adventures in British Columbia and Tanzania, and we had a very entertaining evening. 

Marie-Laure has just received a Distinction, and Ian received his Creditation, as well as Dave Turner from the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain, congratulations to you all. We are now getting several members with ‘letters after their names for photographic achievements, well done all of you..

On the 11th December JOHN DAVENPORT FRPS will present 
"MONOCROME IMAGES" John deserts the desert for cool black & white. The following Monday 18th will be our Christmas Party (which is open to members only), where we hope to have an enjoyable evening.

We resume our meetings after the Christmas break on Monday 8th January with our 3rd Projected Image Competition. 

Meetings are held at the St. Georges Church, Audley Road, Folkestone (on the corner of Shorncliffe Road, opposite West Station), every Monday, commencing at 7.45pm.
