TRAPPED HORSES DIE IN BLAZE

Three horses have died after being trapped in a burning barn near Dover.

30 firefighters battled to save the animals from the building at Kittington Farm in Elvington.

The fire, which broke out just before 10.00pm yesterday (5 December) also damaged a smaller building nearby.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service said the owners reported four horses missing, but only three bodies were found.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
