Telecoms mast plans for Killing Woods

TELECOMS MAST PLANS FOR KILLING WOODS
Dear Ed,
Here is some information for all the people of Hawkinge that live near or like to enjoy the Killing Woods area or admire the wonderful "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty" (AONB) as they approach the village from the south.
Shepway council have received an application (app no Y06/1391/SH ) to erect a 15 Metre high telecoms mast at the very top of the Killing Woods field.
The mast will be 2-3 metres higher than the highest trees with all the junk on top of that, the base will be a 5.5mx5.5mx2m high fence.
The details can be viewed on line or at the Civic Centre reception, all comments and objections have to be with planning by 12/12/06
