HAWKINGE CRIME UPDATE

It has been a very quiet week for crime in Hawkinge.

There was one report of youngsters kicking a football against the Community Centre metal loading bay doors on Thursday evening (30 November).

The bollard in Webster Way which has been missing for nearly 6 weeks has been re-instated today (4 December). However PC Moody confirmed that but its days are numbered. He has spoken with Kent highways and they have confirmed to him it is due to be removed permanently once the Hawkinge link road is completed early in 2007.
