Cllr Trice, thrice wrong , I love it when councillors play on words. I admit I have no idea what the clubs of Hawkinge are called nor wish to know either.

The fact remains that a club or clubs are receiving £1500 of the parish money.

I forget what your letter was now but I also recall that a letter was read out from yourself also asking for further funds for the football clubs.

I am as bold to say that the chairman even suggested that if the club was registered as a charity it may well be up for further funding from the proceeds of lands sold off in the Parish.

Suggest that the Parish Council registers the Community Centre as a charitable organisation quickly then they too can secure funds from monies paid to the Parish.

In short it seems that the old boys club seems to do what it wants.

I call for greater attendance from the Parishioners to these meetings.
