WHITE CLIFFS CUP BATTLE OF THE BRAINS

The Hawkinge Environment Group are holding a fun wildlife and general knowledge quiz o­n Saturday (9 December).

All they ask is to bring your own team or join in a team o­n the night with a maximum of 6 people, and provide your own refreshments. It is hoped that some French volunteers will also be attending and local people are asked to bring some traditional English fayre to share.

There are prizes for the winners, including their team name engraved o­n the coveted White Cliffs Cup and a raffle and donated goods to buy. The group welcome everyone to come along.

The quiz is to be held at the Hawkinge Community Centre, Heron Forstal Avenue, off Canterbury Road, Hawkinge.

On Tuesday 12th December the group will be out working to improve the walking routes in the countryside around Hawkinge.
