Dear Ed,

As it appears to be the 'silly season' as well as Xmas I have decided to come clean. 

The letters published here state categorically that the Parish Council is in breach of something or other. I admit my sins and am putting my admission of whatever it is to music in the key of 'F' (for frothy). 

I have to admit to being a little afraid of what the Auditor might find if there is something happening that shouldn't be even though he hasn't over many recent years. 

I have also requested to become a member of whichever Football Club stands to gain from public money as claimed here; got to have some of that. 

I've been trying to find out which devilish Councillor suggested we should have the Auditor at the next meeting.

I was there and don't remember that. None of the other devils will admit it. So, I have hurriedly fired off a missive to him (he's an old friend) requesting he be at the next meeting. 

Got to stop any wrong doings if there are any I don't know about. 

It's certainly shaken the members that a complaint is, presumably, in the offing.

Damn good job I say, serves 'em right for getting involved. 

The Gazette becomes the local 'Private Eye' for all to read - Super job - All good stuff and bring the kids - Intelligence is all.
