POLICE APPEAL FOR MISSING MAN

Police are appealing for information after a man went missing from his home address near Faversham.

James Haskell, a 48-year-old man from Teynham was last spoken to by his wife around 6.30pm on Tuesday 7 November.

James is described as being a white man, around 6ft 3 inches tall with a stocky build. He has a grey, stubbly beard and short shaven grey hair.

At the time of his disappearance he was wearing a distinctive red fleece, black cycling shorts, black shoes and a blue cycling helmet. He was riding a grey mountain bike at the time of his disappearance.

Chief Inspector Mark Chambers, who is leading the investigation said: ‘We are naturally becoming increasingly concerned for James’s welfare and are keen to receive any information from anyone who believes they may have seen him. We have an extensive number of staff out looking for him at present but we would appreciate any help from the public to aid our search’.

Anyone with any further information should contact Sittingbourne police station on 01795 419250.

NOTE:-
The man has been found safe and well in Tunbridge Wells.
