Neighbourhood Watch reported they have received a message from the Kent & Medway Safety Camera Partnership to advise motorists that there is currently a temporary 30mph speed limit on the A2070 Bad Munstereifel Road in Ashford. This is from Junction 10 of the M20 to the roundabout at McDonalds.

The works – which are being carried out by the Highways Agency - are to slow traffic down whilst work is being carried out at Junction 10 of the M20 and will last for approximately 36 weeks. For the safety of both motorists and the work force the 30mph limit will be enforced by mobile safety cameras.

Motorists are reminded that the temporary 30mph speed limit – which is clearly signed – applies at all times of the day and night including weekends, whether workmen are on site or not.
