Neighbourhood Watch reported they have received calls today who in turn have received a call either telling them they have won a prize or 'they need to call' a specific number.

Without wishing to be too blunt, if you haven't entered a competition there is no prize to be won.

Please ignore these calls and do not dial the numbers, especially if they are something like an 0871 or the like number.  They are Premier line numbers and it will cost you money that you will not find out about until you receive your next telephone bill.

Please consider registering if it is a personal landline number, (not business) with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS).  The TPS registration line is 0845 070 0707.
