NO SPECIFIC SUPPORT TO SITE FOR NEW HEALTH CENTRE

Dear Ed,

Having read that I have given my ' full backing' to the Planning application to build a health centre in Mill Lane, I ask if the writer actually read my e-mail. 

If they had they would have found it was addressed to the Shepway Primary Care Trust not Shepway District Council or any Planning Authority. 

It was dated 26.7.05, before any planning application was made, and before I knew of any location of any site. 

I wrote in my private capacity as patient of the surgery, urging Shepway Parish Council to support and make funding available for improvement of healthcare in Hawkinge, something that I believe most villagers would support.

In no way did I give specific support to, or have knowledge of any proposed site for a new Health Centre. 

The first I knew of its location was when the application Plans were presented at the Parish Council meeting on Wednesday 14th September.

Finally, I signed the e-mail Dave Callahan and gave my private address to emphasis I was writing in my private capacity.
