LEISUREDROME SITE FOR HEALTH CENTRE?

As the Parish Council seems set on selling the “Leisuredrome� would not that make an excellent site for a Health Centre…much better road access, road is designed to take heavy flows of traffic.

I also note that a planning application, Y05/0712/SH has been approved. This site is in Barnhurst Lane and approval has been given for housing. No specific housing details are provided, but it seems like an excellent site, in size and location for use as a Health Centre. Perhaps an approach to the owners of the land etc. may prove fruitful, if only the Primary Care Trust and our delightful District Council could be bothered to look.

Perhaps even our wonderful Parish Council could manage to voice an opinion on this, but that is getting onto contentious ground, one Councillor would have to be told by another how to vote for a start, another is already 100% behind the current plan, another will have to be prodded back into life, etc. etc.
