Nipped in the Bud ?? I don't think so!...Not if workmen turn up at the site on Friday, complete with JCB and Chainsaws. Luckily, it seems, an Official (of some sort) and Police turned up and stopped them from starting to clear the site.

In view of the above, this has got to be a done deal! Ask our man on the Parish Council, Callaghan, as I believe he has the full story. Believe there are memos/emails/notes down within the documentation concerning "the Plan" where he gives his "full backing" to the plan.

The Street will further blighted with yet more traffic.

So much for "A uninanimous vote against the application cited a failure to comply with planning policy prompting councillors to 'strongly' object to the plans."

The site has already got the initial "approval" of the PCT, Shepway District Council Planning Department and the Highway Authority!!

Seems like Shepway District Council and Shepway Primary Care Trust were doing the deal on this one back in March of this year.
