Hawkinge Football Club's Annual General Meeting held last night (8 August) re-elected the Chairman and Secretary after a successful season which saw the club's membership booming.

George Hodgson was re-elected as Chairman, Cyril Trice re-elected to the Secretary job and Aaron Revell was elected as Treasurer.

"The Club is going into the new season with a Sunday adult team in the Hythe, Folkestone & District Sunday morning league, a new adult team starting in the Ashford & District league and an under 15 years youth team in the Parker Steel East Kent Youth league. It will be a busy season for the club Officers", said Cyril Trice.

"We need a manager to look after the under 15 year team as the previous boss has left the area, More coaches are also needed to help get other youth teams formed. The 6-11 year olds are keen, and just want the backing from the adults."
