ALERT IN DOVER AFTER DETONATORS STOLEN

Police are warning the public to be alert after six railway detonators were stolen from a van parked in St Radigunds Road, Dover on Tuesday night (2 August).


The detonators are used as track warning devices. They contain mild explosives and could be dangerous in untrained hands police warn.

Parents in the area were urged to ensure their children knew of the danger of playing with the devices.
