BANK HOLIDAY CRIME SPREE IN HAWKINGE

It has been reported that a black Piaggio moped which was stolen from the driveway of a property in The Street overnight 26th/27th August was later recovered.

Again in The Street a Ford transit van was damaged overnight 26/27th August while a Vauxhall Combo van parked in Cricketers Close was also damaged.

Finally again on the same night on the Bank Holiday weekend, various trees were damaged in the community green area of Heron Forstal Avenue.

Last week on the night of 21st/22nd August another cycle was stolen in Hawkinge. This time it was an Apollo Excel Mountain bike, blue and silver in colour which was stolen from Downs Road and on the same night a Citroen Berlingo van was damaged whilst it was parked in Clouston Close, Hawkinge.
