What's wrong with a telephone mast ? How many people in Hawkinge have got mobile telephones? 

I know one geezer in Canterbury Road that has to come out of his house, walk 30 to 40yards to get a signal.

Are Hawkinge villagers willing to ditch their mobiles and have no masts or is it a case of NIMBYismn ?
