WARM WEATHER BRINGS OUT THE CRIMINALS

Neighbourhood Watch have reported a spate of crime in the village over the past week.


On the 4th August the wheel nuts were removed from a 4 x 4 vehicle whilst it was parked in Uphill, Hawkinge, and between the 4th and 8th August the front door of a property in Stempe Close was forced and damaged when thieves entered and stole a television set.

Overnight o­n 6th and 7th August it was reported that a thief stole an ice cream from a garage in Aerodrome Road.
