Eurotunnel to shed 400 jobs

EUROTUNNEL TO SHED 400 JOBS
It is reported that Eurotunnel, the cash strapped operator of the Channel Tunnel is to shed up to four hundred jobs.
The majority of the cuts are thought to be on the French side of the operation but British workers at Cheriton could be facing 80 job losses.
The news comes just a week after the company announced that operating revenue had increased 2% over the same period last year and revenue from Shuttle Services, Eurotunnel’s core business, increased by 6%.
