CALLING TIME ON SHEPWAY PUBS

Shepway Licencees have until 6 August to transfer their existing liquor and entertainment licences or face closure.

Shepway District Council is calling o­n all Licensees to ensure that they have transferred their existing licences, for liquor and entertainment, under ‘grandfathers rights’, into premises and personal licenses under the Licensing Act 2003.

Application forms can be obtained by visiting our Web Site at www.shepway.gov.uk or phoning the help line o­n 01303 852407

Completed application forms must be sent to the Licensing Unit by 6th August 2005 at the latest.

Licensees are encouraged to submit early applications to enable the licence to be processed before the 6th August.

Any applications received after that date, will require a fresh application to be submitted under the new Act.
