Admiral Lord Boyce to presents White Cliffs awards

ADMIRAL LORD BOYCE PRESENTS WHITE CLIFFS AWARDS


The annual award presentation for the White Cliffs Duke of Edinburgh Award will see more than 100 young people presented with awards by the Admiral Lord Boyce, the Lord Warden and Admiral of the Cinque Ports. 


The Millennium Volunteers, young people aged sixteen to twenty-four, will also receive special recognition for their work in volunteer projects in Dover.

The presentation evening is being held at Northbourne Park School tomorrow 10 June.

There will be entertainment by Sam’s Six from St Edmund’s Catholic School in Dover, Manwood’s Jazz from Sir Roger Manwood’s School Sandwich and Dramatis Personnae, a young harmony group from Thanet.

The Units collecting awards are:-

St Edmund’s Catholic School, Dover
Dover Explorer Scouts
Sir Roger Manwood’s School, Sandwich
Learning Opportunities Centre, Ringwould
Dover Grammar School for Girls, Dover
Duke of York’s Royal Military School
Castle Community School, Deal
Dover Grammar Combined Cadet Force
Walmer School, Deal
Dover College
Sandwich Technology College
