Theft of Pedal Cycle

ACRISE, FOLKESTONE

The informant had been working in London and returned home and noticed that the child’s bike and the half bike were missing. He spoke with a friend who stated that the bikes were OK o­n the 14th.

IP was working and left her mobile phone o­n charge o­n the work surface next to the kitchen door.

The kitchen door was insecure; the work surface where the phone was being charged can be seen through the window in the kitchen door. Later phone was discovered stolen

Ip found that the passenger’s wing mirror had been taken off and removed.  No other damage was caused and no attempt to enter the car,

Patrol called to attend suspicious males in Red Astra. o­n arrival at scene, the alarm was sounding o­n premises. A side door had been a forced & 2 windows broken.

Attempted Theft

BOTOLPHS BRIDGE ROAD WEST HYTHE, HYTHE

Offender/s climbed over front gate, broke lock off containers and fuel tanks.  Took items out of container, were disturbed and made off.  Two males seen, nothing stolen. At 2230hrs there was a blue cabstar pickup parked in lay-by facing compound, no other details.

The IP states that between the times stated unknown offenders have damaged her plants and ripped them out in the front garden.

Theft of Motor vehicle

REDOUBT WAY DYMCHURCH, ROMNEY MARSH

IP was travelling home when he decided to park at the bus stop. He attended to climb the sea wall stairs to watch the workmen building sea defences. The IP left the car key in the vehicle ignition and left the vehicle unlocked and unattended. He  watched the work in progress for approx 3-5 minutes. When the IP turned to were his car had been he noticed that it was gone.
