Theft

THE STREET LYMPNE, HYTHE

 

Between stated times the IP and his neighbour had a quantity of Kent Rag stones stolen from outside their properties. IP states neighbour told him there were two offenders, driving a white van (believed to be Mercedes) with sign written sides. Neighbour witnessed 2 suspects, o­ne male, o­ne female, using a white van, taking the stones. They apparently drove down the end of the Close toward the church, and then drove back out again. The female had light hair, and both were said to be in their late 20's / early 30's.

Arson

HYTHE ROAD DYMCHURCH, ROMNEY MARSH

 

Kent Fire Service informed police of the fire. Witness   stated that he heard a group of youths shouting and then saw smoke from the barns direction. Heard youths shouting as they ran down Burmarsh Road away from the fire. Another witness heard the voices of several youths shouting, heard a voice say, "That o­ne went well" and smelt smoke a few minutes later.
