Business park plans rubber stamped

BUSINESS PARK PLANS RUBBER STAMPED

Shepway officers are recommending a plan  to convert the former visitor centre for the Channel Tunnel into a business park, is approved by councillors.

The park would bring a medical centre, hotel, offices and a creche to the area and the removal of the historic Channel Tunnel boring machine.

The plan which has the backing of Folkestone Town Council will be studied at tonight's planning meeting (14 June).



Shepway Council last night approved outline planning permission for the business park
