75 YEAR OLD WOMAN ASSAULTED DURING BURGLARY

An elderly woman was subjected to a serious assault during a burglary at her home Cheriton.

Kent Police said that he 75-year-old was attacked at her house in Weymouth Road, around 3.00pm on Friday (27 May).

Police want to hear from anyone who may have seen a young man acting suspiciously in the area of Weymouth Road at the time or for anyone who noticed any unusual activity in the road to come forward.
