GIVE  MARTINS A WARM WELCOME OR FACE A £5000 FINE

Dear Ed

The House Martins are now building their nests for the summer but last year many people knocked them down.

Can you please be reminded that it is against the law Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. It is also an offence to damage their nests, eggs etc and there is a fine of up to £5000  for any one offence.

It is so nice to see these birds and they come back every summer. We need wildlife in Hawkinge

Thank you

Pauline Reddecliffe
