ELDERLY RESIDENTS TRICKED BY CON MEN

South East Kent Police are asking neighbours of elderly residents to keep an eye out for them.

Offenders are calling  at houses of elderly residents across the South East Kent area tricking their way into their homes.

They are either posing as workman from one of the utility companies or even as police officers.

Please keep an eye on your elderly friends and neighbours and encourage them to always ask for ID before they let them in, especially if they have not asked them call.

Even better ask them to call back so they can get a neighbour or relative to be present as well when they call back.

Genuine callers will not mind.
