01/04/05

Between 0130hrs & 0215hrs 01/04/05

CANTERBURY ROAD A260 HAWKINGE, FOLKESTONE




At approx 0208 hrs the duty manager at the store, was contacted by the alarm company & notified that the alarms had been activated. He took 5-10 mins to arrive at the store, on arrival he saw a male, IC1, 5'6" tall, bald or shaved head, muscular build, wearing a grey Nike track suit walking on the opposite side of the road, he turned down towards the community hall and out of site.

The Front door to the store was secure & no damage, on entering the store, behind the till area, he noticed that trays of cigarettes, had been pulled from their secure cupboard onto the floor and the three cash trays for the tills were on the floor and there was lots of loose change spread over the floor. There is a quantity of alcohol on display, and cigarettes these appear to have been untouched. Security steel bars on the outside of the window have been removed, the top double glazed window has been smashed, and there is a muddy footprint on the inner window ledge. The exit point is unknown, as all door on ground floor were secure.

OLD RECTORY CLOSE HAWKINGE, FOLKESTONE



Informant is reporting the theft of her rucksack from the back seat of her vehicle. She parked the car up outside her friends address in Hawkinge; she forgot to secure the vehicle. She did not realise that the bag was missing until she got to the supermarket 40 minutes later. Handbag contained purse with cash, credit cards etc inside. All cards have been cancelled

ON DRIVEWAY CANTERBURY ROAD A260 HAWKINGE, FOLKESTONE



Ip went out to her car this morning and found the arm rest on the back seat had been pulled down and wheel brace, which had been in the boot, on the floor in the front of the vehicle. Steering wheel was also floppy. Not certain if glove box has been rifled. Ip had left her workbag in the passenger foot well of the vehicle and discovered that her mobile phone was missing from the bag. Ip cannot drive vehicle because of the steering.

Between 1600hrs & 1700hrs 28/03/05

LAY-BY ON WEST WOOD STONE STREET LYMINGE, FOLKESTONE



IP parked at location and took her dog for a walk, on returning she found that the front nearside window had been smashed and a small bag containing pet items had been stolen. The vehicle was still locked, it appears they have smashed the window and leaned in to take the bag, which was located in the front passenger foot well.

LYMINGE FOREST CAR PARK STONE STREET LYMINGE, 



IP parked her car at approx 1500hrs and went for walk in woods. She left the baby-changing bag on the rear passenger foot well - it could be seen from outside the vehicle. Offender has smashed rear passenger side window and reached in and grabbed bag. Made off in blue van index number G849SCD

IP states that he contacted Sky yesterday to advise them he was having problems with his signal, screen on TV just said "No satellite receiving". Engineer has attended today to find the dish was missing. The Wires have been cut and the dish has been unscrewed from the wall

IP states that over night unknown offender/s have damaged his vehicle by taking off the aerial and the rear windscreen wiper and bending the front windscreen wiper.



03/04/05

Between 0600hrs 27/03/05 & 1130hrs 03/04/05

WHEEL BARROW TOWN

STELLING MINNIS, CANTERBURY




IP reports that sometime between 27 March and 1130hrs 3 April unknown offender/s have entered his garden, which has an unlocked gate and have removed the window from caravan he keeps in the garden. They have entered the caravan and stolen two engraved mirrors.

CAR PARK NEAR MARTELLO TOWER HYTHE ROAD A259 DYMCHURCH, ROMNEY MARSH



Between times and dates stated IP's wife states that the vehicle was left in a car park near the Martello Tower locked and secure. IP states that when they came back to the vehicle they discovered that the passenger window had been smashed by means and method unknown. Entry was then gained and the IP's handbag was stolen from under the seat.

QUEENS WAY DYMCHURCH, ROMNEY MARSH



Ip and his wife were sitting watching television in the lounge the wife went out of the lounge saw a male in the house coming from the kitchen, she called for the Ip who came in. Male 1 then said " there has been a break in next door, we have caught one and we are checking to see if you are ok, my mate has been checking outside" he stated that they were police officers, the Ip asked him for identification, the male did not answer. The Ip repeatedly said I don’t believe you. The Ip then saw the second male come in from the garden through the conservatory door, which had been previously locked. Both males went to various rooms with the Ip stating they were looking for the supposed offender from the burglary next door. In the back bedroom male 1 showed the Ip the open window, stating " this is where the offender must have entered" they then went to the front bedroom, the Ip checked the top drawer on a chest of drawers to see if his wallet was still there.

The wallet was not there, male 1then said "it is over there" the Ip checked it finding the two notes (£30 missing), his bank cards were still in the wallet, by this time the Ip was very suspicious and told them to leave, all three walked through the lounge and out of the front door. The Ip said where is the police car, male 1 pointed to a car on the road but both males walked off together in a different direction.

IP has telephoned to advise that at sometime between the dates/times shown above someone has smashed the rear nearside window of her vehicle whilst it had been left parked on the driveway. No entry was gained to the vehicle and nothing has been stolen from it.

IP reports that someone has forced a padlock to one of the farm outbuildings. Once inside a tidy, selective search has been conducted with the only two items believed to have been stolen at this time being a tractor and trailer.

IP states that he locked & secured the vehicle on the driveway of the location at 2330 hrs 04/04/2005. When he returned to the vehicle at 0830 hrs on 05/04/2005 the rear number plate had been stolen.

Offenders have gained entry to the dwelling via a ladder to an open front window, the dwelling is in a rural area, and have stolen a number of items.

Offender(s) have entered rear garden of Ip's property via public bridleway. Offenders have jemmied the upvc double glazed window (kitchen) at the back and entered and carried out an untidy search of the premises. Exit as entry.

STATION ROAD LYMINGE, FOLKESTONE




Offenders unknown have by unknown means gained access through the communal door. At about 18.00hrs the IP and his wife were sat in the lounge area of the flat. The IP has a small dog, which went mad. The IP became aware of two females who had entered his lounge. The two girls asked the IP for a piece of paper so that they could write a note to the lady upstairs. The IP therefore provided a single piece of paper and a pen. One of the females wrote on the piece of paper whilst leaning on the kitchen work surface. The females were in the process of leaving the IP's flat. The IP went with them and saw a male and a small lad leaving his bedroom. The IP discovered that in the bedroom area a unit had been moved away from the bed. A cushion had been moved and a box had been entered. The jewellery on the IP's wife's dresser had been searched through, as had the draws of the dresser. It would appear that the offenders have also searched the draws that are under the IP's bed. At this stage the IP is not aware of anything that has been stolen.

Descriptions

Female 1 who used the pen - 16-20 years old. 5'5 to 5'6. Medium build. Fair hair shoulder length. Blue clothing maybe jeans.

Female 2 - slightly shorter about 5'4 -5'5 light brown hair with a band on her hair. Her hair was held back. About the same age and build.

IP parked vehicle, on return found the passenger rear quarter light smashed. No entry gained. Nothing stolen

Ip last saw her horsebox in the field in front of her house yesterday 09/04/2005 at approx 1700 hrs. This morning at approx 0750 hrs 10/04/2005 her father discovered that it was missing.

IP states that a light which is connected to the electricity supply. The light is on a pole to the side of the house and because of trees etc the light cannot be seen from the main house. U/k offenders have cut the wires leaving the bare live wires exposed and in a dangerous condition.

Ip placed two wheelie bins at the bottom of her drive last night, as today is collection day. This morning she looked out of her window and saw that rubbish was strewn over the footpath and local area. When she went to clean the rubbish up she saw that her green bin was missing.

IP was in his front room, which is situated at the front of the property. The IP and his wife went outside where the car was parked and saw that the rear driver’s side passenger window had been smashed.

The property is currently owned by the council and has been vacant for approx 3yrs. Informant attended the property today and saw that the side window had been smashed.
