There was a late start for this friendly encounter after some of the players forgot to put their clocks forward.

When the game finally did get underway it was Michael Yianni who opened the score for Hawkinge from a rocket of a ball well outside the box.

All was going well for the village team until under pressure from Harveys in the Hawkinge goalmouth, James Howard made it one all when he failed to stop an attack and put the ball in the back of the net instead.

Before the interval Adam Limar put away a header from a pass from the right wing.

In the second half the game still went  Hawkinge's  way with a penalty given against Harvey's for handball . David Chivers took the kick and duly scored.

Michael Yianni then scored his second from another volley which put the village team in a Happy Easter mood, but Harveys did not relax and clawed two goals back in the last 15 minutes.
