RE: MIXED VIEWS ON AIRPORT EXPANSION

I was at this meeting, this expansion will not only effect the Marsh it will be evident in Hawkinge, Folkestone and most of the south coast.

The planes will be flying at a rate of about 15 per hour (not counting night flights), over the coast towards Hythe and Folkestone.

At the altitude these planes will use for take off and landing we will all suffer.

Most of the sizable number off people who wanted the expansion in fact worked for the airport, the others were unfortunately were lead to believe that the airport will be a panacea for local employment.

I am not against jobs for the south east, but, cost cutting and the cut throat business of commercial aviation will out source jobs to the lowest bidder and only leave a small number of menial jobs which they will offer to the local population.

The only winners will be the investors in the airport.
