I saw this and thought I should draw it to your attention.

This is amazing - not to mention, a little Orwellian and came as a surprise to me.

Recent legislation has transformed the extent of Freedom of Information and gives you access to speed camera offences registered within the last twelve months which are stored o­n a freely accessible website?

Did you know that every time your car goes even a mile or so over the speed limit, it is placed o­n a database?

They o­nly send a ticket if you are more than 7mph over, OR if you receive 20 near misses.

You can now check how many you have against your car registration number.

It will ask you for a password

Just click o­n the ' need a password ' link and you will be given o­ne in a pop up window. Don't worry if the password seems a little odd, just adopt it.

In the top right hand corner there is a ' click o­n ' window and it even shows the picture taken by the camera.

I was shocked to find that I have been flashed 13 times in the last 12 months even though I have o­nly received 1 ticket.
