AUCTION FOR HAWKINGE MAN'S MEMORIAL

Local hotelier Sue Cooper, whose brother Paul Hussey was killed in the Bali terrorist bombing, is hoping a fundraising auction and cabaret will raise £20,000 towards the cost of a permanent memorial in London for all the victims.

Items in the auction tonight (27 February) at the Hythe Imperial Hotel include hotel breaks, a bottle of wine signed by Michael Howard and Tony Blair, and autographed sports shirts.

Ms Cooper's brother, Paul Hussey from Hawkinge was managing two hotels in Kuta when he died in October 2002.

Two hundred and two people were killed in the Bali bombings, including 28 Britons.
