14/02/05

Between 1800hrs 13/02/05 & 1220hrs 14/02/05

Burglary

MILLFIELD HAWKINGE, FOLKESTONE


Ip returned home around lunchtime and found that the rear lounge smaller window has been smashed, the catch is up on the bigger window underneath and the rear door is unlocked. The skybox and TV are on the floor but the DVD is missing.



17/02/05

Between 1700hrs 16/02/05 & 0700hrs 17/02/05

Burglary Other

AERODROME ROAD HAWKINGE, FOLKESTONE


Informant states that the shed has been broken into. The shed is normally secured with padlocks and mortise lock. The padlocks have been forced from the door and have been left at the scene. He believes that a search has been carried out.

1915hrs 16/02/05 & 0810hrs 17/02/05

Theft from Motor Vehicle

KIPPING CLOSE HAWKINGE, FOLKESTONE



Ip states that he parked his vehicle on the driveway. Ip went to the car at approx 08:10 this morning to find that the top of the door had been jemmied entry had been gained into the vehicle a pioneer CD player had been taken from the centre of the dash board along with CDS which were under the passenger seat inside a plastic wallet.

PAY STREET HAWKINGE, FOLKESTONE



IP was sitting in his front room watching football on the television, when he heard a bang. He opened the curtains of the front room to expose the double glazed window, and found that the outer pane had been cracked.

THE STREET HAWKINGE, FOLKESTONE



Informant states that he heard a bang noise coming from outside the front of the address. When he looked out he saw 3 males walking past his car towards Millfield. 2 males were in dark clothing; the 3rd was wearing a white jacket and white baseball cap all aged about 15-16yrs. Informant has discovered a footprint on the nearside front wing of his vehicle, which also has a dent mark.



15/02/05

Between 2300hrs & 2309hrs 15/02/05

Attempted Theft from Motor Vehicle

LAY BY MAIN ROAD A20 SELLINDGE, ASHFORD


Offenders had opened the rear doors and a winch was in place to hoist the contents, thereby showing intent. The lorry was parked in a lay-by. At approx. 23:00 informant was woken by a loud bang he then went out to discover the rear door the lorry were open with three men around the back there was a medium goods vehicle backed up against the back doors and a winch attached to a large real of copper wire the informant confronted the males who left the vicinity in a vehicle L355SPN Nissan Primera

MAIN ROAD A20 SELLINDGE, ASHFORD


Informant’s workshop was discovered with the doors open on Wednesday, Informant thought one of his employees had left the door open. Informant has checked, and since discovered that property had been stolen. The padlock on the front door to the workshop was forced off, and is now missing. Tidy search within, copper tubes have been stolen.



20/02/05

Between 1720hrs & 2040hrs 20/02/05

Burglary

STONE STREET STANFORD, ASHFORD



On entering the driveway they found that the garage door was open, the light was on and that the car that had been parked in there was missing. When they went to the front door they found this also open. As they entered the hallway they saw lights were on in the dining room. On closer inspection they then saw mud on the carpets leading to the kitchen and then saw shoe prints on the vinyl kitchen floor, various drawers in the dunning room had been opened and the contents disturbed. It appears this was used to force open the side door of the garage to gain entry inside. On closer inspection of the main garage door, up and over, metal construction, Ip found damage had been caused to the bottom sill in one corner which appeared to have bee attacked by some form of implement, possibly a crow bar.
