25/11/05

Between 1830hrs 24/11/05 & 0420hrs 25/11/05

Arson

CULLINGS HILL ELHAM, CANTERBURY


At 04.20 hours 25/11/05 a Police Patrol was driving through Elham when the officers noticed a fire in the doorway of premises



26/11/05

Between 0001hrs 18/11/05 & 1145hrs 26/11/05

Damage

CHURCH WALK POUND LANE ELHAM, CANTERBURY


Ip has found a hole the size of approx 6x3 in the rear patio door unit .It appears to have been caused by a pellet of some kind.

GARAGE HASKARD CLOSE HAWKINGE, FOLKESTONE


IP has a double garage and one of the up and over doors had some pots in front of it. These pots have been moved and the door forced open by approx 1ft. No entry gained and nothing stolen.

LAPWING CLOSE HAWKINGE, FOLKESTONE


IP and partner were awoken at 0145hrs to a noise. IP got out of bed, looked out of a front window and saw 2 children’s mountain bikes lying on his front lawn. IP thought it was his neighbours kids bikes, so went back to bed. The next morning he went outside the back of his house and saw damage to his rear window.

Unknown persons have smashed the window at the village hall No entry has been gained,

Informant noticed the garage door was left wide open and saw that children’s bikes had gone

IP got up went outside and noticed the garage door wide open. She saw that both the children's bicycles had been taken, also the electric scooter.

Recovered the electric scooter in Pannell Drive.

Unknown offender(s) have jemmied the side window on the detached garage located to the side of the house. IP states that the window was found opened and a car care kit, which was on the bench inside the window, has been moved. IP states that nothing has been taken and he does not believes that offender(s) have climbed inside as the bench inside this window is covered in items which would have made a lot of noise had someone tied to climb in.

During the times and dates stated the alarm went off in the house and the side gate opened. On closer inspection of the house by the neighbour he noticed that the backdoor had been damaged. No Entry Gained

Initial call was received from a neighbour who was awoken to the sound of breaking glass and voices coming from the premises. He then contacted the Police who attended along with the key holder. Found in the yard was a vehicle (Stolen From Vicarage Lane Elham earlier)

The informant states that during the time stated that his walls were knocked down.

Offenders have gained entry by unknown means, no sign of any forced entry, and selected property from lounge area.

Attempted Burglary

VICKERS CLOSE HAWKINGE, FOLKESTONE


Between the times stated, unknown offenders have attempted to force the front door using a blunt implement similar to a screwdriver or jemmy. There are about 1/2" door marks on the door and frame. A piece of wood. Possibly fencing, has been left propped up by the door, but does not appear to have been used in the attempt

REAR GARDEN OF VICKERS CLOSE HAWKINGE, FOLKESTONE


Entry has been gained to the shed by the lock hasp being forced off. Ip states there is a piece of wood from their fence left at the scene, which may have been used to force the lock. Ip has spoken to a neighbour who has stated she alerted the police last night as she saw offenders in the garden of another property in Vickers Close. They described the offender/s as two males wearing black tops and hats with yellow jerkins over the top.

Ip went to school with his mother this morning. Ip was on his bike. On arrival Ip put his bike in the bike rack but it was not chained up. When Mum returned to the school this afternoon the bike had gone. No one saw the bike being taken.
