MORE INVESTMENT IN LYDD AIRPORT

Just weeks after Lydd became the new base for the coastguard’s search and rescue aircraft, continuing investment in airport facilities has attracted another leading business to the site at London Ashford Airport. 

Heli-Charter has chosen to base its fleet of helicopters at the airport. The helicopter service company offers a variety of services, including London sight-seeing flights which give passengers a bird’s-eye view of landmarks such as Big Ben, the London Eye and Buckingham Palace. 

The company is also well-known in the broadcasting industry, having provided aircraft, harnesses and camera mounts for aerial filming and photography for leading television channels including Meridian and the BBC.
