WHAT PRICE PROGRESS!

Dear Ed,

It is such a shame that Caroline, Lazarus and others did not know the Village before the airfield and Crickets Close area was built upon. 

Although it was not pretty like Denton there was no litter, groups of children hanging about, bright signs, broken trees or car tracks over the grass by the shops. 

It was a village. 

What price progress!
