'FINE ART DEALER' - POLICE WARNING

Following reports of a 'Fine Art Dealer' calling on houses in Saltwood this week police are warning the public to be on their guard.

The man produced a card which he stated had been approved by the Police.

Police state they DO NOT recommend or approve any individuals or companies at all whatever the business.

Our advice if you are thinking of selling anything and it is the same with having work done on your home is as follows.

Get more than one quote ask friends and family to recommend someone but do not be tempted to accept an offer from someone who calls at your home uninvited.

If the offer seems to good to be true it usually is.

If this person calls at your premises say you are not interested and please contact the Neighbourhood Watch office on 01304 218130.
