(16 enries)

Advanced:- Dave Turner Colt 45

(21 entries) Ian Stone End of the Wart Hog

Keith Radford ARPS Skyward

(1 entry)

Intermediate:- Muriel Hilliard Sasha

(4 entries)

Advanced:- Dave Turner Sarah

(12 entries) Marie-Laure Stone CPAGB En-Kai

The above winners photographs can be viewed on our website.

There has been a slight decrease in print entries, due to the digital ‘era’.. Especially now that we have introduced a ‘digital image’ competition each month, which saves the photographer printing and mounting their photograph.

We are pleased that our membership has increased this season . (we at present have approximately 60 members), which, we believe, is also due to the increase in digital workers.

In addition to our weekly meetings, we have a Practical Evening once a month where members can practice with the studio lighting equipment and we always hope the newer members will come along to try their hand at portraiture or table top. In addition we also now have separate evenings for digital and audio visual workshops.

Our meeting on 31st October was CAROL FULTON "My Journey Through Photography", a digitally projected presentation of Carol’s progress through her professional and creative work.

The following meeting on 7th November will be ANDREW MORRIS FRPS - "From Film to Digits" Andrew studied art at Harrow College of Art, at Glasgow College of Printing he was Head of Photography & Graphics Dept. His knowledge and experience will ensure we have a most interesting evening.

On Saturday 29th October was the Kent County Photographic Association First DIGITAL IMAGE COMPETITION 2005", at Detling Village Hall. An open competition of projected images,.

Meetings are held at the United Reformed Church Community Hall, Castle Hill Avenue. Folkestone, every Monday commencing at 7.45pm New members are always welcome and anyone interested in joining, please, ring Jenny Barraclough (Press Officer) 01303 245399 or e mail:
