DOVER BEACH GETS LIBRARY AIRING

Dover Beach -  Thomas's latest offering

The Virgin Soldiers and Dangerous Davies author Leslie Thomas will be launching his latest book Dover Beach at Dover Library on Thursday 3 November.

Leslie will be giving a talk about his work and reading from his new book. At the end of the session there will be an opportunity to ask questions and buy signed copies of the book.

The novel looks at the impact the arrival of 338,000 soldiers, sailors and airmen had on Dover when they were evacuated from Dunkirk in May 1940.

The talk will take place from 7.30 – 8.30pm. Tickets are £2 available from Dover, Deal and Sandwich Libraries.
