Employment land is planners preferred choice

EMPLOYMENT LAND IS PLANNERS PREFERRED CHOICE

I have today, seen new plans for two flag poles to be erected on the site of the Lidl foodstore.

The flagpoles are marked on the original plan, which has outline planning permission. Interestingly it shows the area designated for the public house on the Haven Drive and Spitfire Way junction, and just behind that, the land earmarked for a doctors' surgery.

I would suggest from the plans that it is the Shepway Planners preferred choice of where the surgery should be sited.

In view of this, they must surely recommend refusal for any other site unless there is a very good reason not to do so.
