BIG STAR SIGNED BY HAWKINGE RECORD BOSS

Hawkinge record company boss Chris Ashman has just signed Pop Idol star, soul singer Rik Waller to his Red Admiral record label.
	Since reaching the top ten in ITV1â€™s â€œPop Idolâ€œ and appearances on BBCâ€™s â€œTop of The Popsâ€?, Rik has been busy as a media celebrity and working towards his real ambition to be recognised as a great natural soul singer. Chris said: "Along with associates we have re-launched Rik as the soul artiste he really is".

Rik Waller's Mighty Soul Band will be performing the songs Rik had always wanted to sing, including classics made famous by Otis Redding, James Brown, Ray Charles, Sam Cooke, Sam and Dave and Jackie Wilson together with many brand new songs. Rik from Gillingham, and his ten piece Soul band are in negotiations for a national tour in 2005 to promote their album "Innocence" which is due to be released in March.
